Connecting the dots… short and sweet!
The words
in childish print
stopped my heart in its tracks.
Could it really be so simple?
‘I love that she became very creative and loved her artwork.’
And then this:
‘I like that my dot artwork is beautiful.’
So pure.
So simple.
Becoming creative, loving her art, knowing that it’s beautiful.
Becoming—as we always are in the act of
Loving— because it is the only thing that matters
Knowing— beauty in all its expressions
I’ve spent a lifetime overthinking, overcomplicating
And here a childish hand was giving me some very basic truths.

Love what you do
See the beauty and don’t be afraid to say so.
May this be the story that is told of all of us:
'They became very creative and loved their work.'
